Summary/Objective:The Behavior Analyst will provide support to individuals and their caregivers by coordinating, supervising, and providing behavioral services. Services will be provided from a strengths-based lens, utilizing evidence-based practices including of Trauma Informed Care, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Skill-Based Treatment, working with individuals with various diagnoses including behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Intervention may occur in various settings and include functional behavioral analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, naturalistic teaching, and adaptive life skills. The Behavior Analyst will also oversee the programming of and provide ongoing support and supervision to Behavior Technicians (BTs) as well as provide clinical training supervision to behavior specialists. This position also provides training and support to parents/caregivers as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with skill acquisition and behavior support plans. The Behavior Analyst is responsible for coordinating care across environments and with other treatment team and family members.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Function in a clinical supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming including the training of behavior technicians, direct support professionals, school personnel, and other caregivers/providersDevelop and facilitate initial and follow-up training in methodologies and techniques, using naturalistic models of teaching.Provide parent training and education on interventions to be utilized with their child(ren) either through telehealth or in person.Provide group parent training and education as needed.Conduct Behavioral Assessments and Skill Assessments.Develop Behavior Support and Skill Acquisition Plans for assigned individuals with a focus on teaching functional replacement behaviors and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).Create an ongoing data collection system to establish a baseline for assigned individuals and analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.Meet as needed with supervised staff and caregivers to discuss individual’s needs, progress, and to provide support, feedback, or training when necessary.Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual paperwork at scheduled times.Ensure that service provision and interventions meet the requirements of regulatory and licensing bodies, contracts, insurance, human rights, and local behavior committees.Work collaboratively with various professionals including doctors, prescribers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, schools, and other treatment team members to develop and implement individualized goals.Review and sign off on behavior plan/treatment plan training for all staff working with the individual and provide field supervision when necessary.Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies).Keep current with the literature, new research findings, and resources.Communicate effectively with supervisor and other departments within Boundless.Complete documentation and records of service into the agency's electronic health records system within 48 hours of the completed service or timelines established in company policy/procedure.Adhere to company policies and procedures in addition to regulations, laws and other requirements from applicable governing bodies, certification, licensure and/or accreditation entities, etc.This position works primarily in residential treatment settings but may occasionally include providing services in residential and community settings. Residential settings may include supported living, licensed facilities, intermediate care facilities, and psychiatric residential treatment facilities. Community locations may include outings, homes, schools, day programs, and other community settings. This position works with individuals who may demonstrate aggressive, hostile, or other unpredictable behaviors. Telehealth individual and group services may also be provided when clinically appropriate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Required Education and Experience Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.Experience working with children/adolescents with a variety of psychiatric and/or behavioral disorders, including those on the autism spectrum. Required Licensure/Certification BCBA certification in good standing.COBA (Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst) certification in good standing or ability to obtain COBA certification within 3 months of hire.Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant. (Training will be provided, if not already certified).Ability to obtain and maintain physical crisis intervention training (as required by program). Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.Ability to provide BACB supervision to other BCBA candidates and RBTs.Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer). Supervisory Responsibility:This role provides training to behavior technicians. This role provides clinical/training supervision to behavior specialists seeking their BCBA certification and Registered Behavior Technicians. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, during business hours. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, including providing services or meetings with families, care team members, and stakeholders. Travel:Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected on occasion.
