This position assists in the collection of laboratory specimens. The technician performs instrument maintenance and record keeping. They serve as a resource for issues related to laboratory services. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate standard clinical laboratory instrumentation. Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required for this role. Attention to detail is crucial. Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work are essential. Excellent critical thinking skills are necessary for evaluating information logically and systematically resolving problems. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, proficiency, and professionalism. Excellent customer relations skills are required. The technician must relate well to all kinds of people, build appropriate rapport, and establish constructive and effective relationships.
