is a remote with 80% travel 20% Administrative About the Role
Abrasive Technology is launching a groundbreaking line of dental
instruments, innovation that will set new standards in the
industry. We are seeking a Dental Instrument Sales Representative
to spearhead this effort in North and South Carolina. You’ll be on
the road regularly, so being based in one of these states is ideal.
This is a new and highly visible role with the chance to shape how
our dental product line is introduced, adopted, and expanded across
DSOs and dental practices. You’ll be the hunter who develops
relationships, uncovers opportunities, and drives sales growth
outside of our existing internal Brand Ambassador team. What You’ll
Do You’ll wear a few hats; business developer, strategist, trusted
advisor, and have plenty of room to own your success. Here’s what
your days might look like: Build the assigned market for our new
dental instrument line, then expand regionally and nationally. Hunt
new business opportunities by developing relationships with DSOs,
dentists, decision-makers, Universities and Labs. Follow up on hot
leads generated by our internal Brand Ambassador team. Collaborate
with Brand Ambassadors to provide samples, marketing materials, and
support where needed. Educate and engage dental professionals on
the value of our rotary diamond instruments and support tools
-focused through presentations, demos, and relationship-building.
Travel (80%) to meet clients, attend dental industry events, and
develop market presence. Leverage marketing tools to strengthen
brand visibility and build customer pipelines. Provide feedback to
leadership on customer needs, competitive insights, and growth
opportunities. Why You’ll Be Excited You’ll be at the frontline of
a groundbreaking product launch in dental technology. This is a new
role, giving you the autonomy to build a sales territory and shape
how we enter the market. You’ll partner with a supportive Brand
Ambassador team to maximize lead generation while owning your
customer relationships. Your work will directly contribute to
expanding Abrasive Technology’s brand presence in the dental space.
Competitive base salary, performance-based commission, and growth
opportunities within a global company. What We’re Looking For
Proven sales experience (3–5 years) with a hunter mentality; dental
or medical device sales preferred. Strong relationship-building
skills with DSOs, dentists, and healthcare professionals. Ability
to work independently, drive results, and manage a travel-heavy
schedule. Understanding of sales and marketing tools to promote
products and brand presence. Excellent presentation, communication,
and follow-up skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or
related field preferred. Access to our facility (and, therefore,
