performance across multiple stores. About the Role The Operations
Specialist is a highly field-focused role designed to improve store
performance through targeted training, operational support, and
execution follow-through. There will be one Operations Specialist
per state , making this a visible and high-impact leadership role.
This is not a desk-based position. The Operations Specialist works
inside stores, partnering closely with Regional Managers and Store
Leadership to identify operational gaps, reinforce training, and
ensure consistent execution. Position Overview The Operations
Specialist improves store performance by delivering hands-on
training, identifying bottlenecks, reinforcing operational
standards, and ensuring follow-through on corrective actions. This
role is solution-oriented, highly accountable, and comfortable
stepping into active retail environments to provide immediate
guidance and structure. Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Field
Support • Provide on-site, hands-on training support to stores
experiencing operational challenges, discrepancies, or customer
service issues • Identify locations with elevated discrepancies or
recurring execution breakdowns and proactively deploy training
support • Conduct in-field coaching with General Managers,
Assistant General Managers, Leads, and Associates • Reinforce
training related to inventory handling, cash handling, customer
flow, staffing execution, and store-level processes • Observe store
operations in real time to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
• Follow up after visits to ensure improvements are sustained
Operational Support & Issue Resolution • Serve as a primary
operational support resource for assigned stores • Respond to
operational "fires" including workflow failures, customer
escalations, and staffing challenges • Support store resets and
execution alignment during high-impact periods • Assist with
opening and closing execution issues • Ensure follow-through on
action items identified during store visits Store Walkthroughs &
Execution Reviews • Conduct routine store walkthroughs focused on
operational execution and readiness • Identify recurring
operational challenges and partner with store leadership to correct
them • Provide clear, actionable feedback following walkthroughs •
Reinforce merchandising standards, organization, and customer flow
Discrepancy & Process Support • Support investigation of inventory
discrepancies and operational irregularities • Identify root causes
related to process gaps or training needs • Reinforce corrective
actions through coaching and follow-up • Escalate significant or
recurring concerns to the Regional Manager Leadership Support &
Reporting • Act as an extension of the Regional Manager, supporting
execution consistency across assigned stores • Provide coaching
reinforcement to GMs and AGMs • Track trends related to operational
breakdowns and training needs • Maintain documentation to support
accountability and follow-up Qualifications • 3 years of retail
leadership or multi-unit retail experience • Strong operational
understanding of inventory, cash handling, and retail workflow •
Experience training, coaching, or developing store teams •
Comfortable working across multiple locations • Strong
communication skills and ability to provide direct, constructive
feedback • High level of accountability and follow-through •
Willingness to travel within assigned state Preferred: Experience
in regulated industries and multi-location environments. Why This
