Job Description:
The City of Middletown is accepting applications for the
position of Grounds Technician in the Department of Public Works &
Utilities, Division of Grounds Maintenance. Requirements:
Graduation from a two-year college or university with major course
work in agriculture, arboricultural, ornamental horticulture or
closely related subjects; experience in planting, cultivating and
maintaining turf, trees, shrubs and flowers; or equivalent training
and experience; and Possession of a license issued by the State of
Ohio as a Certified Public Operator to apply pesticides or ability
to obtain within 6 months of hire date. Applicants must possess a
valid Ohio Driver's License. Salary Range: $21.43 to $28.68 per
hour plus benefits. All applicants will be required to take a
written examination on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Application

Human Resources Office located on the second floor of City
Building, One Donham Plaza, Middletown, Ohio or may be downloaded
from the website at https://www.cityofmiddletown.org/jobs. The
deadline to submit an application is Friday, June 9, 2023 at 5:00
