We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join the Primary Health Solutions team as a Lab Technician at our Middletown center. A day in the life of a Lab Technician:

• Perform PCR runs, analyze data, and prepare technical reports according to standard operating procedures.
• Quality assurance/quality control of highly complex lab.
• Proper handling of medical records and test results.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• DNA/RNA extraction.
• Assist in performing PCR tests.
• Organize and catalogue samples.
• Participate in routine laboratory tasks and other duties as assigned.Core Competencies:

    • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, OR Associate's in Applied Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology.
    • 6 months - 2 years' work experience in a CLIA-accredited clinical laboratory preferred.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills verbally and written.
    • Positive, patient-focused attitude.
    • Ability to manage change.
    • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time without resting.
