Job Description:

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for an Electrical Project Engineer at our Middletown location. The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for the management of capital engineering projects including the preparations of preliminary and final engineering, designs, scopes of work and technical documentations, cost estimates, etc.Summary of Responsibilities:

• Management of capital engineering projects consisting of:
  • Drive control system migration projects working with integration companies.
  • General Electrical Engineering/Power Distribution.
  • Equipment design, procurement and installation.
  • Collaborate with operating department team members to scope and prioritize engineering services relative to project needs.
  • Provide engineering evaluations and recommendations for technical investigations, new and proposed equipment, and materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
    • Project management experience.
    • Ability to review submitted designs for adequacy in meeting desired project objectives, developing required scopes of work for equipment and installation, coordination scheduling efforts, developing required operations/maintenance training programs, assist in field installation facility/equipment commissioning.Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience using AutoCAD
