Parenteral Manufacturing (IPM) HSE organization provides Health,
Safety and Environmental support and expertise to a large
manufacturing organization producing sterile medicine for patients
around the world. Responsibilities: The position requires a
highly-motivated candidate with strong teamwork and communication
skills. The position will provide HSE support for manufacturing
areas, Capital Projects and program ownership for HSE aspects and
projects. Provide daily HSE support to assigned areas, including
metrics data and recommendations for continuous HSE improvement Act
as subject matter expert for HSE aspects and prepares detailed HSE
aspect self-assessments including opportunities for improvement,
actions to close gaps and continuous improvement of the aspect
Provide project support, including initial HSE impact assessment
for change controls to ensure thorough implementation of required
HSE aspects and actions Collaborate and influence cross-functional
leadership and area employees to ensure a strong safety culture to
keep IPM employees safe Maintain HSE compliance with IPM
procedures, Global HSE Standards and all applicable external
regulations. Provide HSE subject-matter expertise for incident
investigations, area change controls and HSE functional initiatives
Actively assist on site governance and area safety teams, helping
develop and track key performance indicators to monitor results and
drive improvement action when needed Leads development of digital
tools and automation to improve management of HSE data and
visualization Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required.
Prefer degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene
or other STEM field 5 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing
environment Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the

O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1. Additional Skills/Preferences: Previous
work experience in Health, Safety and Environmental Knowledge and
familiarity with HSE regulations, codes and standards (OSHA, ANSI,
NFPA, etc.) HSE experience including deep technical knowledge in
high-risk aspects, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry,
Fall Protection/Prevention, Machine/Equipment Safeguarding Strong
analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to
synthesize complex technical information and develop practical
solutions Project management skills including capability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously while incorporating
cross-functional stakeholder engagement Strong communication
skills, both verbal and written Effective interpersonal and
relationship building skills Knowledge and familiarity with HSE
data and metrics, including experience with data visualization
tools and dashboards Previous experience supporting or working in
manufacturing areas Additional Information: Minimal travel may be
required (0 - 10%) Normal work shift is M-F, 8 hours per day. This
role supports a 24/7 operational area. Flexibility to provide
occasional in-person and phone support outside of the normal work
shift is required Tasks will require entering manufacturing and

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $65,250 -
$169,400 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
