As a CDL-A certified driver, you will help propel our mission to provide top-tier logistical support and maintain our reputation for excellence in transportation management. Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck alongside a co-driver Load and unload cargo, maintaining safety and integrity of freight Record cargo deliveries and maintain detailed logs of working hours and vehicle service status Plan routes efficiently and adhere to a predetermined schedule Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Report defects, accidents, or violations promptly and take the necessary corrective measures Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL-A driver’s license is required Endorsement for Hazardous Materials may be required depending on the nature of the cargo
