Job Description:
Meijer is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to
oversee the daily activities within our regional warehousing
facilities. As part of our Operations & Site Management team, you
will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective
management of inventory, logistics, and team coordination. This
position is integral to maintaining the high standards of
operational excellence that Meijer is known for across our 240
stores in the Midwest. The ideal candidate will bring a combination
of leadership skills, operational acumen, and a commitment to
safety and employee development. Oversee daily warehouse operations
including inventory management, order fulfillment, and
shipping/receiving activities. Supervise and coordinate a team of
warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and
operational standards. Implement process improvements to enhance
operational efficiency and productivity. Monitor inventory levels
and ensure accurate stocking and replenishment. Maintain compliance
with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Conduct
performance evaluations and provide training and development
opportunities for staff. Strong leadership and team management
skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related
software. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
requirements in a warehousing environment. Effective communication
and interpersonal skills. Certification in Supply Chain Management
(CSCP) or Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution
(CLTD) preferable.
