Purpose: Support and administer key Human Resource functions, new employee orientation, document compliance, and benefits administration. Pursue innovative solutions and reduced expense opportunities. Support both associates and managers with questions, concerns, and interpretation of HR policies/procedures.

Responsibilities:
Prepares and communicates information to employees from corporate partners
Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting utilizing company HRIS
Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
Investigates and reports on claims of discrimination, harassment and other violations of company polic
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
Coordinates the compliant administration of employee programs
Responsible for training new and existing employees
Manages company attendance program
Provides HR support to employees and managers, to resolve problems related to HR polices and processes
Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, absences, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.
Interview job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them.
Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
Inform job applicants of their acceptance or rejection of employment.
Select applicants meeting specified job requirements and refer them to hiring personnel.
Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies and notify eligible workers of position availability.

Education Bachelors Degree Preferred
Experience 2 years experience in Human Resources
Language Basic ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, using the English language. Bi-lingual preferred
Technology MS Office, HRIS Systems, Paycor
Physical Demands The employee is occasionally Stand; Walk; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee is regularly Sit; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear
