Job Description:

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 06/25/2026
• Schedule: 7 am on 06/25/2026 through 7 am on 06/26/2026
  • potential for additional shifts
• Coverage Type: On Call

Clinical Details

• Practice Setting: Clinic/Hospital
• Call: 1:4 call rotation (weekday and weekend)
  • Provider would need to be within a 30-minute radius at all times while on call
• EMR: Meditech Expanse for documentation and patient management
• Support Staff: APPs, nursing staff, 4 physicians
• Bed Size: 45 staffed beds, plus 20-room ED
• Patients Per Day: Deliveries average one per day; approximately 360 births/year
• High Risk Pregnancy: Occasional high-risk delivery; typically referred to tertiary centers
• C-Section Percentage: 30%
• Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1
• Nursery Level: 1
• Required Obstetrics Procedures:
  • Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
  • FHR Interpretation - NST & FSE
  • OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation
  • OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
  • OB ultrasounds - Performance of Level II/Targeted (Anatomic)
• Labor and Delivery Required Procedures:
  • Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations as required

Requirements

• Board Certified or truly board eligible (within 1 year of graduation)
• ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
• OH license
• Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred
• Case Logs: 50 deliveries in the last 12 months with at least 5 being C-sections
• Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS
