How you’ll make an impact in this role Accurately prepare and position patients for imaging, selecting appropriate exposure factors. Administer contrast media and medications according to accepted scope of practice and all applicable regulations. Closely observe patients during procedures, reporting any abnormal activity. Strictly adhere to radiation safety to prevent unnecessary patient radiation exposure. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
