Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Indianapolis, Indiana,

Ability to work 50% of the weekends during the contract - Agreement
to precept and/or allow students to shadow during the assignment
Description: Registered nurses are needed for a medical surgical
unit. The unit handles various traumas, including gunshot wounds,
blunt trauma, and stab wounds. Patient care includes orthopedic
injuries, ostomies, hernia repairs, and skin flaps. Staffing ratios
are typically 1:5-6. Nurses may be required to float to different
levels of care as needed. Charge nurse responsibilities may be
assigned, with training and resources provided. Travelers must
adhere to the eligibility requirements and be available for
scheduled shifts. All candidates should be comfortable with the
expected call-in policies and makeup shifts. The environment is
fast-paced, requiring comprehensive patient management skills.
