Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Orient, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,380 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 52 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Profession: Behavioral Healthcare Provider Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 52 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field License: Licensed Registered Nurse Certifications: Master's degree in psychology or other mental health-related field; Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in Mental Health or Psychiatric Nursing Must-Have: - Licensed Registered Nurse by the relevant state board - Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal Description: The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services concerned with behavioral and biomedical science. The role is relevant to health and illness as well as the application of knowledge and techniques to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Within the scope of practice, the provider performs psychosocial interventions with clients. Individual, family, or group interventions include counseling, testing, and educating clients. The provider develops intervention goals and objectives designed to give education and resolve clients' functional issues. Participates in the process of establishing, implementing, and evaluating treatment system goals and objectives. Interviews clients and their families to establish case goals and objectives. Assesses clients and determines specific intervention techniques, monitoring client responses to treatment. Provides feedback on the effectiveness of prescribed treatments. Evaluates lower-level provider cases and clients' progress resulting from treatment plans. Maintains necessary documentation to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies. Prepares data requiring social histories, admission summaries, court documents, and completes forms as required by law and policy. Serves on treatment teams and program development teams. Attends training meetings, departmental meetings, and relevant hearings. Establishes and maintains working relationships with other facilities and support services to coordinate referrals and follow-up services. Knowledge of departmental regulations, policy, and procedures is essential. Ability to counsel on sensitive matters and proofread technical materials. Must recognize unusual or threatening conditions and take appropriate actions. Understanding of abstract fields of study is required. Problem-solving skills in situations with many variables is essential. Application of social work theories, principles, and techniques is necessary. The position may require unusual work schedules or arrangements. Exposure to clients who may be potentially violent is a possibility. Potential exposure to unusual noise, odors, or contagious diseases may occur. Travel to community sites may be required for service delivery.
