Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,201 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Oncology Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nurse – Ohio Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, weekend shifts vary based on unit needs Highlights: Float between Oncology Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care Units with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 (PCU) and 1:4-5 (MS) Work with diverse patient populations including active oncology diagnoses, solid tumors, hematology, and general medical-surgical conditions Utilize EPIC charting system and Pyxis medication management in a secure corrections healthcare environment 72 hours of orientation provided to ensure smooth transition into role Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and physical therapy Gain experience managing complex cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, chemotherapy administration, and advanced respiratory interventions Requirements: Current RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience with at least 1 year of current specialty experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required EPIC charting system experience required Oncology experience strongly preferred but not required Experience with patient ratios of 4-5 patients Demonstrated competency in telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy including central lines and PICC lines, blood product administration, and respiratory management including trach care Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge nurse acceptable for second reference Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6 months or more to be eligible Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to expand your clinical expertise in a specialized oncology setting while working within a secure corrections healthcare unit.
