Oncology RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Opportunity – Registered
Nurse, Acute Leukemia & Hematology – Ohio Start Date: March 23,
2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, day or night
rotation. Self-scheduling with flexible requests to accommodate
preferred schedules. Weekends variable based on unit needs.
Highlights: 13–16 week travel assignment in a specialized acute
leukemia and hematology unit Care for newly diagnosed acute
leukemia patients with a focus on infection prevention and patient
safety Staffing ratios: goal of 1:4, may be 1:5 depending on census
24-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including rapid response
teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy EPIC charting system with GE
telemetry monitoring Comprehensive 72-hour orientation: first week
Monday–Friday dayshift, second week includes 36 hours with a
preceptor Requirements: Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state
license required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of nursing
experience; at least 1 year of current specialty experience
required Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time
travelers not accepted) BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC Chemo Certification
required NIHSS certification preferred Experience with telemetry
interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, central
line care, PICC line management, and feeding tube management
Proficiency with EPIC charting system required Flu vaccination
required (medical exemptions only) Nursing degree from an ACEN or
CCNE accredited program Two professional references required: at
least one must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership
