Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Travel Position Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12 Days Pay: $2,689.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, OH. The OR RN will provide high-quality perioperative care, assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures and optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile field and anticipating procedural needs. Monitor patients’ conditions and respond promptly to any changes. Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and in compliance with facility protocols. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes. Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state. Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred). Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable). Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test. Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.
