Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and
home-based patient care, is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) to strategically and ethically guide our network of
inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and
hospice agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for
providing visionary leadership, strengthening our market presence,
and enhancing operational excellence while ensuring the highest
standards of patient care are met across all platforms. This role
demands an exceptional balance of healthcare knowledge, management
expertise, and a profound dedication to improving patient outcomes
through innovative care practices. Develop and implement strategic
plans that align with the corporation's mission and broader health
system goals. Oversee all senior management executives within the
hospital, home health, and hospice care sectors, ensuring cohesive
team management and operational efficiency. Monitor and improve
financial performance of the entire network, setting and achieving
financial goals while ensuring sustainability. Champion innovation
in patient care and implement new technologies and methodologies to
improve service quality and patient outcomes. Ensure compliance
with all governmental regulations and industry standards. Foster a
culture of excellence, inclusivity, and transparency within the
organization. Engage with external stakeholders including
healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and the community to
enhance the organization’s public profile and strategic position in
the market. Strong leadership and organizational skills Proven
ability to develop and implement high-level strategies Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Deep understanding of
healthcare operations, financial management, and regulatory
environments Ability to drive operational excellence and innovation
in patient care Experience in crisis management and making
high-stakes decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
