Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specialized
in Labor and Delivery. The shift is a night rotation consisting of
three 12-hour shifts. A minimum of two years of experience in Labor
and Delivery is required. Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS,
and NRP certifications. Epic experience and the ability to start
IVs are necessary skills for this role. There may be a requirement
to float to different units as needed. Due to the nature of the
role, familiarity with high-risk obstetrics is advantageous.
Candidates will have patient ratios for nights averaging one
patient. The daily census includes neonates, adolescents, and
adults. Additional support services are available, including IV
teams and social services. Candidates must be prepared for
potential delays in the credentialing process. It is essential that
candidates can meet urgent compliance requirements. Two
professional references are mandatory, with at least one being from
a managerial position. No coworker references will be accepted. The
education background must be from an accredited nursing program. 5
