Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lima, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with at least one year of experience, an active OH or compact RN license, and strong cardiac care skills. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a 36-bed MS/Telemetry unit with a diverse medical and telemetry patient population and a higher-than-average cardiac census - Care for cardiac patients including those undergoing cardiac rule outs, CHF exacerbations, and pre/post cardiac cath procedures - Manage patients receiving Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin drips but no pressors; must be able to titrate drips - Occasional care of patients with chronic trachs, BiPAP/CPAP, ports, PICCs, standard drains, and chest tubes - Unit features Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, and operates with 2-4 PCTs depending on census - Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday requirements - Floating may be required based on staffing needs - Epic EMR experience preferred - Navy blue scrubs required - Provide comprehensive care for a range of medical, cardiac, and alcohol detox patients - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care - Night shift charge takes assignments in addition to oversight responsibilities - First-day EKG testing with study guide provided - Commitment to quality improvement and patient advocacy expected /n /n Requirements/n - Active OH or compact RN license required - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required - Must pass a dysrhythmia (EKG) exam on the first day with two attempts allowed - At least one year of RN experience required - Previous pre/post cardiac cath and telemetry care experience preferred - Must not live within a 50-mile radius to be eligible /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-659229.
