Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, Ohio Radiologic License or eligibility, and at least 2 years of experience for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a Neuro Interventional Radiology department within a hospital environment - Perform diagnostic and interventional neurovascular and peripheral vascular procedures - Cases include cerebral aneurysm coiling, avascular malformation treatment, stroke interventions, organ biopsies, chemo embolizations, Y-90 therapies, uterine artery embolizations, venous tumor lysis, vertebroplasty, infusion pump procedures, radiofrequency ablations, and clot removal - Support both diagnostic and interventional ultrasound, angiographic fluoroscopy, and CT imaging - Manage inventory for over 1500 products in the neuro IR lab - Shift is 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including every other holiday - Call required every third weekend and 1-2 nights per week - Initial 2-week training at another hospital location within Columbus - Will float to an additional hospital approximately 2 days per month - Must be competent in assisting during neurointerventional and a broad range of vascular and oncology interventional procedures - Work involves close collaboration with neuro interventional radiologists and a multidisciplinary team - Expectation to maintain proficiency across various imaging modalities and procedural equipment - Participation in department's high procedural volume exceeding 20,000 cases annually - Every other holiday required as part of the regular schedule - Special radius rule: candidates must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology - Graduate of an accredited radiography program - ARRT certification required - ODH Ohio Radiologic License required (pending license accepted; license required if applicable) - BLS certification required; ACLS preferred - Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, medical terminology, and radiation safety protocols - Willingness to assist in training permanent staff /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661148.
