Job Opportunity – Operating Room Nurse – Ohio Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day/Evening Rotating, 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule combining 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts. Monday through Friday with shift options between 6:30 AM and 8:30 PM. Call and weekend coverage as needed based on unit requirements. Highlights: Work in a premier cancer treatment facility with Magnet designation and top national ranking Extensive surgical specialties including neuro, thoracic, ENT, orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, GYN, oncology, and robotics Advanced robotic surgery experience with Da Vinci surgical systems including SP and Xi platforms EPIC electronic medical record system used throughout the facility Both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities across diverse surgical cases State-of-the-art facility with 20 operating rooms and 45 daily census supporting comprehensive cancer care Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission) BCLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred Proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing required EPIC charting system experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Strong background in multiple surgical specialties preferred, rated 3-4 in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GYN, free flaps, and robotics Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program Two professional references required (one must be from manager/director or formal leadership) Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in one of the nation's top-ranked cancer hospitals, providing cutting-edge surgical care across a broad range of specialties.
