Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required. License: Valid nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, patient fall prevention. Description: New tower opening in a unit specializing in acute leukemia and hematology. The position involves caring for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients. Focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention. Staffing ratios are 1:4, but can be 1:5. Variable weekends based on unit needs. Self-scheduling requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules. Orientation includes a week of day shifts followed by on-unit orientation with a preceptor. Requires experience in telemetry, including interpretation of dysrhythmias. Skills in managing IV therapy and administering blood products are essential. Candidates with a background in inpatient oncology are preferred. Strong emphasis on teamwork and interdisciplinary support. Must complete credentialing requirements in a timely manner.
