Registered NurseCardiac RehabAtrium Medical CenterShift: 0700-1530 (this is a support/PRN position)The Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Clinical Nurse functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing based on evidence based principles. The Cardiac/Pulmonary Clinical Nurse coordinates & directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The Cardiac/Pulmonary Clinical Nurse is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards and institutional policies and procedures. The Cardiac/Pulmonary Clinical Nurse provides physical, emotional, spiritual & psychosocial support for the cardiac/pulmonary patients/families/significant others. Performs patient assessments, planning, implementation, education of patients risk modification and outcome evaluation of the cardiac/pulmonary patient. Develops & revises the exercise prescription plan based on the guidance of the Medical Director. Acts as a resource for the physician & other healthcare team providers.Education: Graduate of accredited program of professional nursing required.Licensure: Current license as RN from State of OhioCertification: Current BLS certification; ACLS required within six (6) months of hire dateExperience: Two years clinical nursing experience with at least one year in a critical care setting required.Skills/Other: Proficient at ECG interpretations. Excellent communication skills and able to work independently with excellent organizational skills. Technical knowledge in cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.by Jobble
