ATRIUM MEDICAL CENTERAMC FLOAT POOLFULL TIME NIGHTS 7P-7:30A72 HOURS PER PAYThe Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards. The Tier II - Facility Specific RN House Wide Float rotates to designated units to subsidize staffing shortages as needed enterprise-wide.EducationMinimum Level of Education Required: Diploma ProgramAdditional requirements:- Type of degree: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing- Area of study or major: Nursing- Preferred educational qualifications: BSN Preferred- Position specific testing requirement: N/ALicensure/Certification/Registration- Valid Ohio RN license- Current CPR certification required at the time of hire.- ACLS and PALS required or must have within one year from date in position.ExperienceMinimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experiencePrior job title or occupational experience: N/APrior specific functional responsibilities: N/APreferred experience: N/AOther experience requirements: A minimum of 2 years of Advanced Care/Critical Care experience within an in-patient acute care setting required (experience within the past 2 years preferred)
