Job DescriptionOverviewWe are looking for skilled, compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants/EA (STNA's/Elder Assistant) – or those pursuing a STNA certification – who desire a career that matters in a community that values their expertise. The STNA/EA promotes residents' independence by supporting the resident in doing as much for self as possible while providing high quality care. The position supports both the Middletown and Springboro, Ohio locations (12 miles apart)Weekday Option:

• NO SCHEDULED WEEKENDS!
• Work Monday - FridayWeekend Option:
  • Work every Saturday and Sunday

    • Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
    • Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
    • Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
    • Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
    • Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
    • Laundry and light housekeeping tasksQualifications
      • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
      • Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required. However, see below for our offer of on-the-job assistance in getting this certification!
      • Experience: good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residentsNEED A STATE TESTED NURSING ASSISTANT (STNA) CERTIFICATION?
