Performance Standards:
- Assist with procurement, including negotiations with vendors
and setting inventory levels.
- Coordinate with departments to forecast, plan, and meet quality
and demand requirements.
- Collaborate with departments on operations, resourcing, and
services (e.g., IT).
- Manage budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.
- Plan and achieve supplier accreditation and service level
agreements.
- Handle administration and reporting tasks.
- Ensure packaging and transport compliance with
regulations.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Oversee warehouse personnel, ensuring safety and accuracy in
job performance.
- Manage valve automation, warehousing, and distribution
operations by implementing policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping
legislation.
- Coach, discipline, and evaluate warehouse staff
performance.
- Control inventory through physical counts and data
reconciliation.
- Maintain warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Schedule and assign warehouse tasks, monitor results.
- Recruit, orient, and train warehouse staff.
- Maintain professional knowledge through training and
networking.
- Supervise management of repair records.
- Contribute to team efforts and achieve related results.
- Handle year-end inventory processes.
- Assist in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification and related
processes.Work near moving mechanical parts (exposure - 15% of work
hours). Risk of electrical shock (exposure - 5% of work
hours).Requirements:Education: Associate's Degree in Industrial
Distribution or equivalent experience required.Experience: At least
5 years in industrial operations/warehouse lead or supervisory role
with degree, or 10 years without degree.Skills: Supervision,
budgeting, safety management, standards development, process
management, surveillance, inventory control, reporting, analysis,
equipment maintenance, judgment, dispute resolution,
leadership.Physical Demands: Ability to lift 75 lbs., reach, climb,
stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods.
