StandardAero Components & Accessories ("SACS") sector is an almost $500M annual revenue business, focused on the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul ("MRO") of commercial and military engine components and accessories across 12 individual sites today.

As a Business Development Operations Manager, we are seeking someone who loves operations, sales strategy, systems and workflow - and who wants to put those skills to use in scaling up our business development operations strategy. This selected candidate will have the opportunity to build on our existing business development framework, learn from sharp, committed colleagues and be part of an energizing culture that's low on bureaucracy and high on impact.

This position will support the SACS sector processes in the identification of market opportunities, strategic account planning, sales pursuits, competitive intelligence, and lead generation initiatives across the sector and corporation to generate new business from existing and new customers. This position will be responsible for managing the "data arm" of the Sales Team; creating, designing and implementing efficiencies for the sector that improve efficiency and performance through advancements in technology or enhanced standardized processes; and administering including analysis and development of analytical metrics that help the sector in achieving the strategic, operational and financial objectives.

The successful candidate will possess a high degree of commercial and financial acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, change management experience, a collaborative and compelling leadership style, a strong bias for action and a solid background with demonstrated results in operational excellence.

The position reports to the SACS Director, Business Operations.

What you'll do:

  • Develops and presents innovative ways to optimize and scale the success of our sector from New Product Introduction (NPI) to retiring capabilities that no longer fit with sector plans
  • Advise the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) by leveraging data and knowledge of the latest market trends and competitive analysis to present new business opportunities for review and to improve business revenue/profitability
  • Identify and implement the processes, tools, resources and data needed to meet ambitious revenue targets - think territory management, lead generation, pricing, inventory creation, sales collateral, KPIs etc
  • Enhance existing systems (Salesforce, etc) to facilitate data-driven decisions, new business development, forecasting and process improvements
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders across StandardAero and serve as the liaison to the site General Managers and others, with the goal of driving growth
  • System Administrator responsible for user and system performance and support
  • Receives, evaluates and responds to internal customer inquiries and requests for new functionality to be developed in the CRM tool
  • Develops and presents data models to transform CRM data into information and to assist in making financial decisions

    Core Competencies:

    • To fit well in this role you must have worked in business development and/or sales operations at a top-tier organization and have experience managing people without authority
    • Strong creative and quantitative problem-solving skills
    • Knowledge of global development community
    • Keen interest and exposure to international business
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. Field of study should be analytics, economics, business, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
      • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Finance, Operations, or Business Development roles.
      • Aviation or Aerospace related MRO or Sales Operations experience of 5+ years
      • Demonstrated business acumen, the ability to generate business cases and to execute financial plans.
      • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and an eye for detail.
      • Strong knowledge of StandardAero products, processes, and customer requirements
      • Salesforce background required
      • Strong report writing and dashboard creation skills
      • Strong financial analysis skills
      • Position is located at a StandardAero location, preference is Cincinnati, OH
      • Position may require some travel
