Job Description:

A large banking client in the Mason, OH area is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team permanently. This position will be focused on one of the subsidiaries of the banks specialized in leasing. They will be joining the Corporate Accounting group within the bank. They will be responsible for managing a team under them of 4 people, and they're looking to grow to 7 members. They will also be responsible for reconcile accounts, posting journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position. They will handle Lease Accounting, conduct month end close processes, and preparation and review of periodic account reconciliations. - banking or financial services experience
- 2+ years of accounting experience (financial analysis, audit BG, but NOT tax accounting experience)

- Knowledge of day-to-day accounting (building processes & procedures, internal controls, financial statements, etc.)

- Associates or Bachelor degree in accounting or finance

- Proficient Excel experience
