for. We are currently seeking candidates for a Press Operator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: · Blue
print readings · Set-up new production orders on the equipment ·
Adjust tooling/press until parts are within specification · Run
production orders until complete · Keep workplace neat and orderly.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : None QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : ·
Blue print reading · Basic math skills · Operating basic metrology
instruments (calipers, micrometers, ruler, and height gauge)
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : High School and five years
experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS : Must be fluent in English with the
ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings.
Must be able to respond to inquiries. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Uses
addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers
including decimals and fractions. Uses simple formulae, charts,
tables, drawings, specifications, schedules. REASONING ABILITY :
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a
variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
