DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop safety procedures to be employed by workers operating equipment or working in close proximity to on-going chemical reactions. Troubleshoot problems with chemical manufacturing processes. Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Provides leadership in the planning of chemical process design and execution of capital expansion projects aligned with company goals. May include commissioning and documentation of new and existing facilities. Prepare estimate of production costs and production progress reports for management. Direct support personnel and contractors as needed to complete projects. Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with hands-on process engineering background. Must have experience in PSM regulated plant setting, as well as capital project experience.
