Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Maintenance
Supervisor position in the Hotel industry is crucial for ensuring
that facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and
staff alike. This role involves performing routine inspections,
repairs, and maintenance tasks to uphold the highest standards of
cleanliness and operational efficiency. The successful candidate
will be responsible for addressing any maintenance issues promptly
to minimize disruption to services and enhance guest satisfaction.
Additionally, this position requires collaboration with other
departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure that all
areas are well-maintained. Minimum Qualifications: High school
diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in maintenance or a
related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
systems. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in a relevant
trade (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC). Experience in the hotel
or multi-unit properties. Familiarity with state and local safety
regulations and compliance standards. Work Requirements and
Benefits: This is a full-time salaried position. A five-day work
week is required (minimum 40 hours). Must be flexible and able to
work a schedule based on the needs of hotel and guests. This
includes working weekends and on call for emergency situations.

Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of the property to
identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Maintain landscaping
and exterior areas. Maintain a pool and equipment to meet local and
state guidelines. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on
plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building
structures. Complete daily work order tasks and maintain a monthly
preventative maintenance program. Maintain accurate records of all
maintenance activities, including repairs completed and materials
used. Skills: The required skills for this position include
proficiency in various maintenance tasks, which are essential for
performing repairs and ensuring the functionality of facilities.
Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to quickly diagnose
issues and implement effective solutions. Communication skills are
vital for interacting with team members and guests, ensuring that
maintenance requests are understood and addressed efficiently. Time
management skills will help prioritize tasks effectively,
especially during peak operational times. Preferred skills, such as
trade certifications, enhance the candidate's ability to perform
specialized tasks, contributing to overall operational
excellence.
